Entry Requirements

Where we go next is in your hands. Your work, your thinking, your courage and your inspiration is what will drive us forward - so we're only looking for the very best. From day one we want to see that you have a genuine commitment to learning, contributing and developing your skills. Quite literally, our future lies with you.

Ambition is something you'll have buckets of, just like we do. Not only will you have (or be expecting) a good engineering degree, you’ll have a demonstrable passion for engineering. You’ll admire the innovations of others, and you’ll be determined to innovate yourself. You’ll also be someone who loves to take on new challenges and your can-do attitude means you can quickly respond to changing demands.

As one of our engineers you could be getting involved in everything from keeping Alaskan pipelines flowing to making sure boilers are firing in electricity generation plants. So, you'll need to be flexible in your approach, with the energetic, confident and driven mindset it will take to face every kind of challenge.

Your CV/Resume will need to demonstrate previous work experience (it could be paid, such as a placement or internship) or voluntary (you might have helped a student organisation or a charity). If you have all of that along with excellent written and spoken English, the right to work in the country you’re applying to and fluency in the language of that country, you definitely have what it takes to succeed at IMI.

If you're ready to take control of your career and become one of the next generation of IMI engineers, just head to our application page.
