Hydronic Engineering Programme

IMI Hydronic Engineering is open to your ideas. From minimising the energy consumption of a new skyscraper in Turkey to helping deliver a green hospital in Australia, the challenges you'll get involved in are as big as they are exciting. Our Hydronic Engineering division is already the industry leader in energy-efficient system solutions for indoor climate control. As part of a team of around 2000 people, you'll build on that momentum, providing high-performing products and services around the world.

Whilst we're building momentum in every place we operate, we're currently focused on developing our engineering talent in three specific countries: Germany, Sweden and Poland.

To join us in one of these locations, you'll already have (or will be expecting in 2017) a good Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Manufacturing engineering degree. And you'll be the kind of person who jumps at the chance to break out of your comfort zone, collaborate with others and take your ideas as far as they can go.

You'll get stuck straight into four placements of six months duration. You'll grow your knowledge, experience and career like nowhere else as you master skills in Research & Development, Operations, Project Management and Technical Sales. As well as being a great way to see a product from birth through to customer implementation, you'll experience first-hand where a career in engineering could take you.

Throughout all of your placements you'll be supported by a mentor, who'll be a senior manager within the business. The Engineering and HR leads for your home country will also work with you to develop your career. But it'll be up to you to take control of your future and fulfil your ambitions.

Once you reach the end of the two years, we'll expect you to move into a permanent role in your home country. This is when we'll really see what you're made of and what you can bring to IMI, as you build your career with us.

If you're ready to take control of your future, head to our Requirements page for application details.
