IMI Wins Award for "Best Results Meetings and Analyst Briefings" at 2001 UK Investor Relations Awards ceremony - 10 July 2001
On Monday 9th July, 2001 IMI was presented with the award for the "Best Results Meetings and Analyst Briefings" at the UK Investor Relations awards at The Royal Albert Hall, London. The event was sponsored by Investor Relations magazine, in association with The Financial Times.
To pick the winner of each category, the magazine commissioned Fulcrum Research to interview 650 of the UK's leading fund managers and analysts to find out which companies had conducted the best Investor Relations campaigns over the past year.
IMI was given the award in the category "Best Results Meetings and Analyst Briefings" by companies outside the FTSE 100.
At the ceremony, a leading UK based fund manager summed up the responses to the survey by saying: "I like the ease of access to the information the company provides and the interest IMI shows in its investors."
Trevor Slack, IMI's Finance Director, said "We have made considerable efforts over recent years in developing our investor relations and so winning this award is particularly pleasing as it emanated directly from the investment community."
