Change in non-executive directors - 8 April 2004
Due to his increasing business commitments, Mr Brian Staples, non-executive director, has tendered his resignation from the Board of IMI plc to take effect from the close of the Company's annual general meeting on 14 May 2004.
Mr Gary Allen, Chairman of IMI plc said: 'Brian has made a valuable contribution to the IMI Board for the past four years. Nevertheless we respect his decision to focus on his other interests and wish him well for the future.'
