Responsibility Highlights

  • IMI accredited with Investing in Integrity

    IMI plc is pleased to report that it is the first company in the world to be accredited by Investing in Integrity for its commitment to acting with integrity at all times. The accreditation process was an independent audit process which involved reviewing our policies and procedures, face to face interviews with many senior leaders of the worldwide businesses and extensive surveys of our employees in all of our key territories. The accreditation is a collaboration between the Institute of Business Ethics and the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

  • Project 20:20

    Although we have more than 170 locations around the world, our 20 largest sites account for 75% of our CO2 emissions. To focus on this group we have established Project 20:20, the aim is to identify 20 best practice projects to implement across IMI and to push for a 20% reduction in normalised CO2 emissions at these key sites.

  • SSF achieves internationally recognised Health and Safety certification

    Stainless Steel Fasteners Ltd (SSF) recently achieved certification to BS OHSAS 18001:2007, which represents a commitment to the health and safety of its employees and members of the public who come into contact with their products and services. This will help differentiate SSF from the competition, with customers preferring to deal with a company that continues to develop their Responsible Business philosophy.
