With over 10,000 employees worldwide, it’s crucial that everyone feels connected to our strategy. This day allows us to engage with our purpose, Breakthrough engineering for a better world, ensuring every team member understands their role in our shared success.
This year, we refreshed our values to: always care, be curious, and create impact. These values are simple yet powerful. Through group activities, we demonstrated how these values aren’t just corporate slogans — they are actions we can all take as individuals, both personally and professionally.

As we evolve, we’re also committed to creating an exceptional experience for our one big team. Research has shown us that people join IMI for the job opportunity but it’s the culture that makes them stay. And it’s crucial that we keep enhancing this culture, through improving our offering with our employee value proposition, and using our annual IMI Way Day as an opportunity to communicate this with our people.

On IMI Way Day, we emphasise this through our “Think Twice” campaign, reinforcing the importance of a safe working environment, by thinking twice and disrupting our autopilot to prevent accidents. Safety is not just a priority; it's a fundamental part of every decision we make, and dedicating time to it on this day reinforces our commitment to our team's physical and mental wellbeing.

Commitment to our communities
IMI Way Day isn't just about internal growth — it's also a chance to give back to our communities. Across many of our locations, employees participate in charitable endeavours, from donating blood, planting trees, to helping at homes for disabled individuals.
In Brno, Czech Republic, our team supported a local home for disabled adults by improving outdoor facilities, while in the USA, another team volunteered at local recreational centres, enhancing landscapes and creating community gardens.
By engaging in these efforts, we reinforce our values and demonstrate our dedication to our communities. IMI Way Day is a key moment when our people come together to make a meaningful difference wherever we operate.
