Role Overview

Summary/Objective of the Position:

Maintain the Machinery, Equipment and Facilities in good condition and operation, following the standards of safety, quality and operational excellence.

Essential Job Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Execute corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance to Norgren Querétaro machinery, equipment and facilities.

2. Execute activities related to Safety, Hygiene and Environmental Control.

3. Execution of activities related to action plans derived from analysis of off-target machinery availability.

4.Participate in troubleshooting analyses for machinery outside of availability targets.

5. Develop improvements, innovations in machinery, equipment and facilities.

6. Participate in projects for the transfer and installation of machinery.

7. Execute mold/mount or model changes according to the production schedule.

8. Actively participate in risk analysis of the operations of their work area

9. Participate in the activities and work programs of the Occupational Health and Safety System as required.

11. Perform the equipment according to the company's procedure.

12. Execute the actions corresponding to their work area to improve quality, reduce costs, eliminate waste and increase efficiency in the machining area.

13. Maintain order and cleanliness in your work area.

14. Communicate the needs, as well as the areas of opportunity in your area to your immediate supervisor as far in advance as possible.

15. Carry out the rework that is required according to the procedure established by the company

16. Report anomalies of the equipment and inform their immediate supervisor of the status of the repair.

Job Requirements:

Level of Education and Experience:

1. Required education: Technical Career (Electronics, Mechanics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Automation, Industrial Maintenance (Preferred)

2.1 to 2 years of industrial maintenance experience

3. Basic knowledge of lathe, milling and grinding machine handling

4. Proficiency in PLC ́s. programming, monitoring (preferably Allen Bradley, Keyence, Omron brands)

Skills and Competencies:

1. Teamwork

2. Analysis and Troubleshooting

3. Sense of Urgency

Required Software:

1. MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) at one level: Intermediate.

Certifications:

1.- LOTO

2.- Machines and tools

Supervisory Responsibilities
