Role Overview

The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as the driving force behind recruitment excellence, acting as a central expert and trusted thought partner to Senior HR leaders and hiring managers globally. This role goes beyond traditional recruitment—it's about owning the hiring process, guiding managers strategically, and ensuring a seamless, high-impact experience. By positioning Industrial Automation as an employer of choice, this partner plays a critical role in securing top talent to meet current needs and shape future success in an ever-evolving landscape.

Key Responsibilities

·       Define and execute the IMI Industrial Automation branding and recruiting strategy, including its unique selling proposition to differentiate from competitors and attract talent aligned with our culture and goals.

·       Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives by proactively sourcing candidates from underrepresented groups, building relationships with diverse talent pools, and ensuring an equitable hiring process to foster an inclusive workforce.

·       Build strong relationships with Senior HR and business leaders to understand challenges and hiring needs, skill gaps, and future workforce requirements, translating them into targeted recruiting plans.

·       Use diverse tools and methods—job boards, events, networking, referrals, and partnerships with educational institutions and diversity organizations—to create a robust candidate pool. Manage full-cycle recruiting for specialist and mid-to-senior roles, from defining ideal profiles and sourcing candidates to screening, coordinating interviews, and managing offers and negotiations.

·       Design and refine hiring processes to ensure a seamless, positive experience for candidates while continuously evaluating and adapting recruitment strategies to remain competitive.

·       Track recruitment effectiveness through reporting on key metrics, using data to improve pipeline health, hiring manager alignment, and overall recruitment effectiveness.

·       Contribute to sector and Group-wide HR initiatives, supporting broader talent and process improvement projects as needed.

 

Qualifications and Experience

·       EMEA talent acquisition experience, preferably in a recruiting agency or international corporate environment.

·       Proficient in full-cycle recruiting, including usage of applicant tracking systems, and proactive candidate sourcing methods through platforms like LinkedIn.

·       Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to navigate and collaborate effectively across a global, fast-paced organization, balancing strategic and operational priorities.

·       Business-fluent in English; additional languages are highly desirable

 

Critical Competencies for Success

·       A degree or equivalent experience

·       Experience in recruitment, ideally within fast-paced or evolving environments

·       Ability to develop and deliver talent strategies

·       Strong business awareness and the ability to work effectively in evolving or ambiguous contexts

·       Experience partnering with and guiding senior stakeholders

·       Strong organisational, prioritisation, and project management skills

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

·       Experience within engineering or manufacturing environments (beneficial but not essential)

·       Strong learning agility and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
