Our Executive Committee and Board of Directors work together to ensure strong governance and performance. The Board draws on the diverse expertise of its members, while the Committee oversees progress, manages key risks, and develops strategic and operational proposals for the Board’s consideration.

Roby Buyung

Joined IMI in 2013

Roby joined IMI in July 2013 as Controller for Asia in Process Automation and has since held senior leadership roles in that sector including Finance Director South East Asia & Pacific, Managing Director for South East Asia & Pacific, Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific and Divisional Chief Financial Officer. Roby became President of Process Automation in 2024.

Before joining IMI, Roby worked in the information technology, financial services and energy sectors, most recently at GE.

Roby holds a Global Executive MBA from INSEAD and Bachelor of Commerce in Accountancy from the University of Wollongong, New South Wales. He is a Certified Practising Accountant, Australia.

Tarak Chhaya

Joined IMI in 2016

Tarak joined IMI in September 2016 as President of Process Automation India and later served as Regional President for Process Automation Middle East, Africa and India. He also led IMI’s global innovation initiatives through Growth Hub and Venture Studio. Tarak was appointed as President, Industrial Automation in July 2025.

Before joining IMI, Tarak spent over 15 years with General Electric in senior business leadership and commercial roles in the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors.

Tarak holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gujarat University and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management from ICFAI Hyderabad. He has completed an executive programme at INSEAD Singapore.

President, Climate Control

Stefano D'Agostino

Joined IMI in 2024

Stefano joined IMI in February 2024 as President of Climate Control. He is responsible for driving sustainable growth and market-led innovation across the division, focusing on key end-markets such as Commercial Buildings, Residential Buildings and Data Centres.

Before joining IMI, Stefano spent 18 years in the Building Automation and HVAC industry, beginning his career as an engineering graduate at Schneider Electric. He held senior roles at Schneider Electric and Honeywell across Building Automation Products, Projects and Services, and Data Centre Solutions.

Stefano holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and an MSc in Electronic Engineering from the University of Naples, as well as an MBA from Manchester Business School in the UK.

President, Life Science

President, Life Science

joined IMI in 2005

Kevin joined IMI in 2005 in the Transport business, focused on engineering and product development. He has held senior leadership roles across the group including Managing Director of Fluid Control, Global Operations Director for PFOEM, General Manager of Farmington, Engineering Director for Life Science Americas, and Product Marketing Manager for Industrial Automation. Across these growth focused roles, Kevin led global P&Ls, set strategy and aligned operations structures, strengthened commercial execution and accelerated new product development into high-growth markets. Kevin was appointed President, Life Science in October 2024.

Kevin holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Washington. He is a licensed Professional Engineer and a Six Sigma Black Belt.

President, Transport

Neville Rudd

Joined IMI in 2024

Neville joined IMI in September 2024 as President of Transport. He brings extensive global experience in automotive component supply and manufacturing leadership.

Before joining IMI, Neville spent 33 years in the automotive components industry, including senior roles such as Vice President for Tenneco Global Ride Control and Federal Mogul Global Friction, and Regional Operations Leader for TRW Asia Pacific.

Neville is an Associate Chartered Management Accountant and holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Management.
