We are seeking a dynamic and analytical finance professional to oversee and drive the financial operations, governance, and business partnering functions for Malaysia and Thailand. This role serves as a critical bridge between Finance and local business operations, leveraging strong financial insight to support commercial growth, strengthen internal controls, and resolve complex financial issues.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting
- Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Develop and maintain key financial metrics and subledger details to track business performance and communicate results effectively.
Business Excellence
- Oversee Thailand office administration, capital expenditure (CapEx), and formal communications with government agencies and statutory bodies.
- Ensure timely completion of all finance-related deliverables, including budgeting, forecasting, audits, tax filings, company secretarial matters, and bank administration.
- Review, approve, and provide strategic guidance on finance-related matters for the Thailand Finance team.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and local statutory requirements.
- Drive internal controls, compliance initiatives, process improvements, simplification, and automation.
- Lead and support external audit processes and liaise regularly with auditors.
- Coordinate tax compliance activities with external tax advisors.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures in accordance with local laws and regulatory requirements.
Business Insights & Partnering
- Partner closely with commercial and operational teams to provide financial insights against budgets and forecasts.
- Collaborate with Sales, Service, and Operations teams, providing financial support and guidance on corporate policies.

- Leverage financial insights to provide strong guidance and leadership to cross-functional business teams.

Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience within multinational corporations (MNCs) and external audit environments.

- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels.
- Excellent planning and organizational abilities with a proven track record of meeting deadlines independently.

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
- Experience with Sage 300 and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools is highly advantageous.
