As an ESC Consultant, you will analyze building system designs, perform advanced hydronic calculations, and develop innovative heating and cooling system solutions using IMI's industry-leading balancing, control, and pressure maintenance products.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Design and recommend hydronic solutions for heating and cooling systems based on project documentation.
  • Select and size balancing valves, control valves, and pressure maintenance equipment.
  • Perform advanced hydronic calculations using HySelect, HECOS, and other engineering software.
  • Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD 2D.
  • Prepare calculations, product schedules, and technical documentation using Excel and other tools.
  • Analyze tender documentation and identify suitable IMI products and solutions.
  • Independently manage engineering assignments and small customer projects.
  • Communicate directly with IMI subsidiaries, sales teams, and customers regarding technical solutions.
  • Prepare technical summaries and recommendations in English.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively follow up on deliverables.
  • Support and occasionally guide junior team members and technicians.
  • Deliver internal technical trainings and participate in technical demonstrations.
  • Contribute to on-site balancing activities when required.
  • Assist the Team Leader and provide backup support when needed.
  • Continuously develop expertise in HVAC systems, hydronics, and IMI product applications.

What We're Looking For

Education & Experience

  • University degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3 years of experience in HVAC design, hydronic systems, technical support, or consulting engineering is an advantage.
  • Understanding of heating, cooling, and pressure maintenance systems.

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize engineering software such as HySelect and HECOS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Languages

  • English communication skills (written and spoken) at an intermediate level (B2) or above.
