Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a university student or early-career professional to gain practical experience across Human Resources within a global organisation. Working closely with the HR Director – Transport and HR teams across multiple countries, the HR Coordinator supports a wide variety of projects that improve the employee experience, build capability across the sector and develop your own business skills. The role combines training coordination, engagement and communications activity, and data and reporting support, offering broad exposure to the people agenda in an international engineering business. This role will be 12 months fixed term contract. 

 

Key Responsibilities
·         Support the coordination and administration of learning and development activities, training records, and reporting.

·         Assist with employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing activities, focus groups, and feedback analysis.

·         Create and distribute internal communications, including presentations, newsletters, employee updates, and digital content.

·         Maintain HR, training, and engagement data, and support the production of reports, dashboards, and insights.

·         Provide administrative and coordination support for HR projects, meetings, action plans, and continuous improvement activities.

·         Build effective working relationships across regions and functions to support collaboration and delivery of HR priorities.

·         Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy requirements, and HR governance standards.

·         Undertake any other reasonable duties as required.

 

Critical Competencies for Success
·         Studying or have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or has an interest in the Human Resources function. 

·         Strong organisational and planning skills.

·         Comfortable coordinating multiple activities and managing deadlines.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

·         Good attention to detail and ability to work with data and reports.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Powerpoint, AI tools

·         Interested in Learning & Development, employee engagement, communications, or Human Resources.

·         Previous experience in administration, project coordination, customer service, marketing, communications, education, business support, or similar roles would be beneficial but not essential.

·          Eager to learn and develop a career within HR and people-related functions
