Role Overview
We are looking for an HR Manager  for IMI Process Automation in Japan, who  will partner closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to drive the HR agenda for the site . Acting as a trusted advisor,  the HR Manager will lead the full employee lifecycle while ensuring alignment with IMI's global people strategy, talent agenda, and culture.
This role is responsible for developing and executing the IMI and Sector  HR strategy at local level to support business growth, and will be responsible to drive organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, enhance leadership capabilities, employee engagement, and workforce planning.  Working closely with the HR Director of Power & Nuclear Vertical, the role will serve as the key link between the Japan organization and IMI's global HR Centers of Excellence, ensuring local execution of global initiatives while addressing the unique needs of the Japanese market.


Key Responsibilities

•    As business partner, you will assist the Managing Director to set HR goals and objectives and timely update policy & process based on well understanding of the Vertical/ Sector business strategy and priorities
•    Internal Communications. Act as ambassador to interpretate and embed company strategy, strategy matrix deployment into local policies, procedures of the full spectrum of HR functions. E.g., , Organization and Talent Development, Performance Management, Employee relationship, etc.
•    Lead the Training plans for local employees based on the local skills matrix for each department
•    Organization development, including , deployment of grading system, competency review, and succession plan for sustainable growth
•    Managing Business Unit HR budget & control HR costs
•    Managing Compensation and Benefits program according to the company rules and regulations.  Participation of Annual Salary survey through Mercer and other local consulting firm to maintain market competitiveness
•    Managing Inclusion and Diversity through people engagement
•    Data Analysis. Timely update HR Information system and reporting. To ensure headcount information must be in line with Finance System
•    Comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental rules, requirements, and procedures
•    Report work-related hazards, near misses and incidents
•    Stop work and seek advice (Stop-Call-Wait) if believe a condition exists that may be hazardous to the health and safety
•    Promote a safe working culture that is fully complying with HSE policy within a team and lead as an example to employees

What we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field      Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or HR Business Partner role

Strong experience across multiple HR disciplines, including talent acquisition, organization development, compensation and benefits, employee engagement, and workforce planning

Experience supporting business transformation, organizational change, and talent development initiatives

Experience in an international or matrix organization is highly desirable

Fluent in both Japanese and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
