Role Overview:

Efficiently manage the resources of the business unit in charge to deliver products on time and at low cost, complying with the required quality and safety standards; contributing to the achievement of the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene and environmental policies and programs, quality and corporate systems.
  • Establish the manufacturing plans necessary for the fulfillment of the Business Unit's objectives such as safety, quality, on-time delivery, costs, employee satisfaction and productivity.
  • Efficiently manage human resources, machinery and equipment to meet customer demand with the required quality and costs.
  • Ensure the implementation of continuous improvement plans in production, manufacturing, quality and cost processes.
  • Identify together with their collaborators the training needs and career plan of the personnel under their charge, to improve the levels of competence and ensure the implementation of the development plans in collaboration with HR
  • Coordinate the multidisciplinary team so that the quality problems reported by our internal and external clients are responded to in a timely manner, as well as the corresponding action plans are executed.
  • Define, justify and manage the resources required to achieve the objectives of the business unit such as human resources, machinery, equipment and tools.
  • Justify and efficiently manage the Business Unit's indirect expense budget.
  • Contribute to the achievement of the organization's environmental objectives through proper compliance with internal environmental procedures and policy, as well as the legal and governmental requirements that apply in environmental matters.
  • The Business Unit Coordinator is responsible for the good management of expenses, improvement projects and cost reduction that have a favorable impact on the P&L of their business unit.
