IMI acquired Bahr in 2022, recognising its leading position in electric linear motion and the important role it could play in the future of industrial automation. Today, IMI Bahr designs and manufactures modular electric linear motion systems used to move, position and automate equipment across a wide range of industrial applications. Its portfolio includes linear axes, positioning systems and multi-axis solutions that enable precise, reliable movement in automated machinery and production environments. Since the acquisition, IMI Bahr has continued to grow as a product brand of IMI. Senior leader Cihan Halavurt shares his experience of the journey so far.
