Growth Hub, our internal innovation engine — a space where diverse teams incubate start-up ideas from within the business.
In 2024, it was recognised with a national award for driving cultural agility, innovation, and learning. With hundreds of employees involved, Growth Hub projects generated £149m in orders and helped embed a growth mindset across IMI.

Our employee networks
Our employee networks bring people together around shared experiences, interests, and goals. From our Global Pride Network and Network of Women, to our Menopause Support Group and Neurodiversity Group, these communities offer connection, support, and a platform to drive positive change across IMI. They are open to all and play a vital role in building community, amplifying diverse voices, and creating opportunities for growth.

Celebrating connection: IMI Way Day
Every year, IMI Way Day brings our global teams together to celebrate what makes IMI special. From leadership talks and team-building to volunteering and recognition, it’s a day to pause, connect, and give back.
In 2024, over 3,400 employees across 40+ countries contributed 9,500+ hours to local communities — from cleaning public spaces to supporting charities and care homes. It’s a powerful reminder that we’re part of something bigger — and every IMI Way Day ends with a celebration to thank our people for the difference they make.
