Submitting your application is simple – all you need to do is apply to the relevant role on our website in a country where you hold a right to work by answering a few questions and uploading your CV!
Assessment centre
If your application is shortlisted you will be invited to one of our virtual assessment centres. With a combination of both group and independent activities, our assessment centres are a chance for you to get to know IMI, ask questions, and for us to learn a bit more about you.
Offer!
If your application is successful, we will make you an offer to join IMI’s graduate scheme in September 2027 – a two-year programme that supports you to grow, thrive, and create impact across different functions, projects, and geographies.

Where are applications open?
Applications for roles in Germany, USA, and UK will go live in early November. Please apply to the country where you hold a right to work.
What makes a successful candidate?
We’re looking for curious, ambitious people who want to make an impact and have the potential to become future leaders. You’ll value the opportunity to gain exposure to different markets, cultures and ways of working – during the programme and throughout your career with us. Through your studies, work experience, extracurricular activities, sport, travel or personal achievements, you'll be able to demonstrate resilience, initiative and a drive to succeed.
Where could this take you?
There’s no one-size-fits-all career path. Our graduates go on to work in varied roles across IMI – from engineering and project management to commercial, category management and business development.
What are the requirements?
For our Technical & Operations stream, you'll be studying towards, or have completed, an Engineering or relevant STEM-related Bachelor's or Master's degree.
For our Commercial stream, you'll be studying towards, or have completed, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, STEM or a business-related discipline.
Candidates must also be fluent in English and have the right to work in the country of application.

The graduate programme has given me far more than technical and business skills.
