What is the IMI Future Leaders Programme?

The programme is our fast-track graduate scheme, creating a pathway to leadership at IMI. 

We’re serious about career progression and our aim is to support you progress to a role at leadership level.

We've created this programme to help you get there – it’s a varied journey where you’ll gain hands-on experience and make a tangible impact from day one.

Join a select group of just 10 graduates each year. You'll embark on a three-year journey rotating through three different twelve-month placements, each in a different location across our global business.

Through this scheme, you’ll help to bring our innovative products to life across our five sectors:

This is the opportunity to accelerate your career.  

Our rotational placements will give you valuable operational and commercial experience and a comprehensive understanding of our operations, culture, and strategic goals. These are the foundations that will help you rapidly progress to leadership. 

We want to see you succeed, so to further your development, the programme will give you the chance to:

Develop your skills 

Through our formal training, mentoring, and on-the-job learning you’ll have the chance to develop a broad range of skills, including leadership, project management, communication, and technical competencies.  

Get valuable exposure to senior leadership 

We’ll create regular opportunities for you to interact with senior executives, attend leadership meetings, and work on high-impact projects. 

Receive regular feedback 

We’ll make sure you’re ready for leadership positions by holding regular feedback sessions to help you continuously improve. 

Lead major projects  

Participants may be assigned to lead or contribute to key projects, allowing them to apply their skills in real-world scenarios and demonstrate their leadership potential. 

Create a supportive network 

Your cohort of graduates will be a network of future leaders who can collaborate and support each other throughout your careers.
